Funds & Grants
The Denver Foundation manages more than 800 funds on behalf of donors – individuals, families, businesses, social groups, and organizations. Setting up a fund through the Foundation allows donors to meet their charitable goals and receive significant tax benefits without the responsibility of administrative work. Funds may be established for a specific cause such as education, or to support the current needs of the community. Once a fund has reached a minimum of $25,000, the donors can recommend grants from their fund to nonprofit organizations of their choice throughout the United States. The following are grants recommended by donors in 2008.
